I photographed my first wedding reception this past weekend! It was so fun to try event photography. Katie and Bryan were the perfect couple for me to experiment on because they are soooo laid back. They were married in a beautiful ceremony in Mexico on St. Patrick's Day last week. And Friday night, they hosted a reception at the Fountains of Ramsey Event Center. I've posted just a couple photos here but you can see a few more in the Mullen-Close Reception album listed on the left side of this site.

There was a LARGE projection screen behind the head table. I knew it was going to be in all the photos I took of the wedding party at the head table. I HAD to get creative because I just couldn't take having that blank screen there for all the photos! Since I had access to their absolutely beautiful ceremony photos, I thought it would be fun to insert them here and there. I thought it would be nice for the couple to have a few photos that put both their special days together in one!
The dip and kiss photo above, I think is one of my favorites! I love the reflection in the window! And I really took artistic liberty with the photo below. Not sure what I think about it yet. And may play with it more. But I think it's kind of fun!
