This is little guy is such a cutie pie. Okay, maybe I say that about all of the babies. But Zander is a happy, cutie pie! Super fun to take his photos. :-) I have been blessed by the photography gods lately too and most of my sessions have been on lovely, bright, and sunny days. Couldn't ask for anything more!
It's also been fun to take his photos in the same blanket each time. Can't wait to put them all together when he's a year old and see how he's grown!
Delaney is such a cutie pie! This session she was a very serious cutie pie. It was close to her naptime so she was a little more subdued than her last session. However, she still had a few smiles for us. And she can rock a tutu and bow headband like no other! ;-) Her big brother, Kyler was a big help entertaining her and trying to get her to look my way.
We were able to grab a quick sibling photo too. :-)
It was fun to see Alice again this year. I first met her family last year for her one year photos and cake smash. She grew so much in a year! And she was so sweet all during her session! Very easy for a 2 year old!
Alice likes to be a pirate! Arrrrrgh! She had such a cute and colorful outift! I even looked in our garage because I know we have a toy pirate ship in there somewhere. But I couldn't find it. I was hoping she could play with it during the session. Of course, I walked into the garage yesterday and there it was right where I thought it should be. Just one of those things where you are looking right at something and don't see it. Maybe next time! ;-)
I think this last one is my favorite. Alice wanted to be done with her photos. And I just felt like I hadn't gotten the one shot I really wanted to get. So I asked her to sit and do a few more just for me. She was so sweet and obliged me. And I'm pleased she did because this last shot is so darn cute!
Juliet is a year old! It has been so fun to take her photos over the last nine months. Her mom might think I would think otherwise. ;-) Because Juliet can be a little emotional at times. But it is fun to see what I can do to get her involved in the photos and want to sit and have fun while I snap away. She was a bit of a tough cookie in the beginning of this session. But she definitely perked up by the end. MUSIC! That was the key! :-)
This was a fun cake smash! Although Elle didn't get super messy, she really liked the frosting and kept going back for more. The black frosting was her favorite which of course was the one color we were hoping she wouldn't go for. LOL! We tried to get her to eat some of the cake, but she mostly just wanted the frosting. :-)
I took sweet Elle's photos this past weekend. She was such a trooper considering we were taking the photos during her normal naptime. I really loved the color pop of the yellow in her outfit! A short but sweet session. We also did a cake smash with her that I hope to get posted tomorrow. Enjoy!

My son turned two in January! I told my husband we were going to take pictures and that I would need his help entertaining Kellan during the shoot. Ha ha! At first, Andrew didn't do much and Kellan kept running around. Then, I said to him, "Pretend you're paying for this session and you really want these pictures." :-) That seemed to work and he goofed around with him and we even brought out some Pez to entice him to stay on the background (I'm not above bribery!). Here's some of the shots I got. It's not easy with a very busy, high energy two year old boy!
I really like this black and white one below, even though the focus is a bit off because was totally jumping around when I was taking it. :-)
This last one is another favorite of mine. It's Kellan's "Please can I have some more?" face. He's not saying very much yet, and in fact just started using the sign for "more" in the last couple weeks. But he used to just put his hands together and make this little puppy dog face when he wanted more. This really captures his two-year old personality! And I'm so glad I have this shot to remember that forever.
Here's William's cake smash! He was pretty cute about the whole thing! Unfortunately, we had to be a little mean and we gave him the cake at first and then took it away. I had to microwave the cake a tiny bit to warm up the frosting. He was sooo mad at me! ;-) But he got over it as soon as we gave him another taste of the medicine.

Oh my gosh, this little boy is sooo sweet! And you know what I liked even more about his session. He totally reminded me of my son Kellan! William was all boy when it came to playing with the blocks we gave him. Throwing them a bit. Taking them out and putting them back in over and over again. My son seems so aggressive to me compared to when my girls were younger and it was fun for me to see another boy just like Kellan! :-)
And oh my some of these are just too adorable, if I do say so myself! LOVE this little guy's bright blue eyes!

And we've reached the point in the session where William was done with me and decided it was time to play! :-)
We tried to do a cake smash with my niece Eliana. Hee...this is probably the fifth or sixth cake smash I've done and it's funny...more often than not, the kiddos are NOT into the cake. It cracks me up! Miss Eliana was so neat and clean and didn't like having the smooshy stuff all over her hands. She refused to even TASTE it! ;-) She was a good sport though!
