So I delved into the world of sports photography last week. My friend Kelly asked me if I would take some photos of her daughter Isabelle's soccer team so she could put some mini-team scrapbooks together. She also wanted a few shots of just Isabelle that she could blow up and hang in Isabelle's room. When she first asked, I was a little nervous. I don't have a great lens for sports action or really the experience. But I was willing to give it a try. Here are some of team shots:

I have to admit, though I was nervous about taking the photos...It was a lot of FUN! I really enjoyed trying to capture the action of the game. I sort of wish I'd had a huge zoom lens so I could get more close up facial expressions or more artistic shots, but I think what I captured fits the bill of what Kelly was looking for. Check off another experience on the ol' list!
